Dakota Delk put together a fun evening of activities including Shag Lessons for the group. The Shag Instructors were Don Bunn and Madeline May, shag instructors at TJ's Night Life in Raleigh. Jimmy Pearce, house DJ at TJ's provided the music.

Shag Students and Guest were treated to a Shag Workshop, a Line Dance Workshop, a Meal, Drawings for Door Prizes and Great shag music by DJ Jimmy Pearce. This free party was to show appreciation from the Owners of TJ's Night Life (Ray, Joni, Dan and Fonda) and the Shag Instructors (Don, Debbie and Madeline). A great time was had by all.

Between 225 and 250 past and present students and guest gathered for the Shag Class Dance Party. TJ’s Owners, Ray, Joni, Dan and Fonda provided dinner and the club. Joni Hall and Ronnie McMannen taught a line dance. Shag instructors, Don, Debbie and Madeline taught a shag workshop. Jimmy Pearce provided excellent music.
